Relational Integrative Massage

Therapy

Every Body is unique in its shape, history, needs. and tension patterns, and every body is a home to somebody.

I understand that you are more than just some slab of meat on the table to tenderize. I understand the mind/body connection on a level to know that you cannot force the body to do anything it doesn’t feel safe enough to do and I know how to speak to your body and your nervous system with my hands in a way that a mother attunes to her child.

Touch isn’t just a love language, it was our primary language in communicating with our caregivers as babies. We used it to explore ourselves and the world around us. Humans have a primal and biological need for safe, nurturing touch.

Benefits of receiving touch go beyond stress reduction. Studies show that regular, consensual touch will increase cognition and memory, improve body image and awareness, decrease loneliness, increase immunity, and build empathy. How you are touched and how often you are touched will effect your overall health.

I can’t even say, this was just an incredible massage, my time with Caitlyn resulted in a spiritual experience. She was in tune with my mind, body and spirit at different levels from the moment I walked through her doorway- I was meant to meet her and be in her loving care for the ample time she spent with me.

My massages offer more than fleeting relaxation, they are actual therapy for your you and your body. Our goal is not to fix anything or for the massage to be productive. My only “goal” is for you to ENJOY yourself, to feel heard, and to receive exactly what you want (within my own limits).

Every massage offers built in time before and after your bodywork so you aren’t rushed or worried about losing minutes of touch time.

You enter a zone of receiving right away:

Before the bodywork

10 minutes to be heard: What do you want to say to me? Talk about your day, your kids, your struggles, and wins. Tell me what you want out of this session and how you want to be touched.

After the bodywork

10 minutes of dedicated time to soak in and savor your session before returning to “life” with option to debrief with me for support.

Integrative massages may include any or all of the following: Deep, firm, and light pressure, cupping (a favorite of my clients!), breathwork, meditation, gentle rocking, reflexology, myofascial release, traction, stretching, trigger point release, and biodynamic craniosacral.

This time and touch are for YOU. Learn to ask for what you want, know what you want, and RECEIVE without guilt, fear, or judgement.
